What funds are the donations allocated to?
The donations we receive in Al-Andalusia are allocated to various funds created to support educational and community projects inspired by Islamic values. Through these funds, we aim to facilitate access to knowledge, support students, and strengthen the development of Islamic higher education that benefits our community.

General Fund
This fund directly supports our goals, projects and academic and dawah programmes. It is the fund that benefits us the most, as we can use your donations where they are most needed. With this fund we finance all our funds and campaigns.
Waqf Fund
This fund is used for projects related to the expansion, renovation, and maintenance of facilities. With donations to this fund, we are currently building the Al-Andalusia Institute, the first institution in Spain to train teachers, imams, murshidas, and ulema in both Spanish and Arabic.
Scholarship Fund
This fund serves as the basis for our merit aid programme; academically eligible students can apply each academic year for partial or full scholarships, which will be awarded on the basis of the student's commitment and grades.
Currently, a year of study at the Institute costs €490 per student. Our scholarships are specifically for students and individuals living in Latin America. The cost of a year at the Academy is €290, which is intended for families who cannot afford their children's tuition fees.
Zakat Fund
Este fondo sirve como base de nuestro programa de ayuda financiera y se utiliza para cubrir el costo total de la educación de un estudiante elegible para el zakat.
